He is also a monthly columnist for Entrepreneur magazine and the author of
11 books that have been translated into over 25 foreign languages. Some of
which include, The 12 Clichés of Selling (Workman Publishing), Superstar
Sales Secrets, Superstar Sales Manager’s Secrets and Barry Farber’s Guide to
Handling Sales Objections (Career Press). He is also the author of the top
selling Nightingale Conant audio programs, State of the Art Selling and
Diamond in the Rough.

In addition to hosting his own show, Farber is a regular on QVC and has been
interviewed on CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, CNBC, CNN, and many other television and
radio venues. He was a columnist for Sales and Marketing Management
magazine, and has been featured in Ad Week, Inventor’s Digest, Investors
Business Daily, Selling Power, The New York Times, USA Today, and Variety.
Called by Entrepreneur magazine, one of the country’s best known, most
respected and incredibly successful sales gurus, Farber has excelled at
sales since he paid his way through college selling fold-up sunglasses
door-to-door. Upon graduation from the University of Maryland, he sold real
estate on weekends, home improvement products at night, and magazine
advertising for Fashion Life during the day. Prior to founding his own
company in 1990, he has held senior positions in sales management, sales
training, and was the national sales training manager for Ricoh Corporation.
Barry is also a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and currently training in Aikido
and Jiu-Jitsu. He often competes in weapons competitions with a six-foot bo
staff. Barry received first place rankings in state and regional
competitions and achieved second place in a National Karate Tournament-
Black Belt Weapons Division. He incorporates his martial arts experience
into his seminars with an entertaining and practical message.
